Ronnie Ong’s installation Still is created from the simple elements of light, objects, and shadows. Ong’s interest is in both literal shadow and the “psychological shadow,” which she describes as “that part of ourselves that we keep hidden, even to ourselves...It often betrays us in our actions.  It’s what others see in us that we do not realize about ourselves.”
