Please join us on April 22 for an intimate evening with Gary Simmons and Jeff Chang.

Noted cultural writer and music critic Jeff Chang sits down with Simmons for a wide-ranging conversation on art, music, race and culture. Chang is the author of Can’t Stop Won’t Stop (2005), a chronicle of the early hip hop scene and Who We Be: The Colorization of America (2014), on the social history, cultural influence, and massive selling of multiculturalism in America over the last thirty years.

Your ticket includes admission to the public conversation and DJ set, a cocktail reception with Simmons and Chang in advance of the talk, and dinner with the artist and writer in the private workshop of State Bird Provisions and The Progress restaurants.
