Southern Exposure's Annual Fundraiser and Art Auction, AVANT GARDEN, is a celebration of Southern Exposure’s dedication to cultivating artists’ practices within the cultural ecosystem of the San Francisco Bay Area. The gallery will be transformed into a fecund garden of earthly delights, featuring an abundance of artworks in our live and silent auctions, delicious food and drinks, and artist-led experiences. This highly anticipated event provides direct and critical support for Southern Exposure's programs.

AUCTION PREVIEW EXHIBITION

Visit Southern Exposure before the auction, preview the artwork and place advance bids. Images of select auction artwork are also available on the SoEx website. The preview exhibition is free and open to the public.

CREATIVE PROJECTS
AVANT GARDEN will feature commissioned artist projects and garden-inspired installations by Alison Pebworth, Anandamayi Arnold, and Aimee Baldwin to welcome in the new season.
FIRST BID PRIZES
Place a first bid on any works in the silent auction the night of the event for the chance to win special, one-of-a-kind prizes by THE THING Quarterly, California Sunday Magazine, Petel Design, and Pop-Up Magazine. Winners will be announced after silent lots fully close at 10:20 PM.
