Southern Exposure's Youth Advisory Board (YAB) presents hidden in sight, an installation documenting an anthropological survey of a secret society. This semester, YAB created both fact and fiction in their exploration, developing the secret society itself by determining its language, customs, codes, and characters, then setting up their own office to research these creations, the "Bureau of Hidden Insight." As preliminary research, YAB members traveled through the streets of San Francisco, searching for hidden spaces, artifacts and meanings, hiding their own artwork along the way. The headquarters of the Bureau of Hidden Insight open to the public on Wednesday, December 14. Be prepared to meet the secret agents, leaf through top-secret documents, and explore the Bureau's historical map of evidential research.
