Incline Gallery, Round 8 Grantee

Recursions, a solo exhibition of photographs, video and text pieces by Tressa Pack, is open through September 20, 2015.

SF Zine Fest, Round 8 Grantee
On September 6, the 14th annual San Francisco Zine Fest returns to Golden Gate Park's County Fair Building. SF Zine Fest celebrates and supports independent writers, artists and creators, allowing them to share their work with an ever-growing audience in workshops, exhibitions and public events.

Shapeshifters Cinema, Round 7 Grantee
@ Temescal Art Center, 511 48th Street, Oakland
On September 13, Bay Area media artists Alfonso Alvarez & Steve Dye present new material and classic gems in the form of video and film in an immersive event complete with multiple screens, live musical accompaniment and audio field recordings. As always, this show is FREE! Shapeshifters Cinema is a monthly expanded cinema series featuring experimental filmmakers and video artists.

Et Al, Round 6 Grantee
Tear Inferno / Time Inferno, two projects by Quintessa Matranga and Aaron Harbour on varying days and locations in September.

Book & Wheel Works, Round 8 Grantee
Book & Wheel Works presents The Moving Art House, a mobile cultural space housed in Richard Talavera’s Mexican Bus with dynamic programming for southeast San Francisco. On Saturday, September 19, the Moving Art House hosts the 5.5 Mile Road House, a mobile event in the Portola with handmade games and prizes!

Stop & Go, Round 3 Grantee
On September 19, Stop & Go presents Made from Scratch, an evening of stop-motion animation and food pairings at Kala Art Institute in Berkeley.

Real Time & Space, Round 6 Grantee
Open call for applications to their 2016 international residency program. Applications are due November 1, 2015. Located in a 4000 sq ft former print shop in Oakland’s Chinatown, Real Time & Space is comprised of 15 work-only artist studios, one of which is dedicated to its international residency program.
