Mission Voices provides teens with a much needed outlet for creative, positive expression. Bridging neighborhoods and cultures, local artists work with a diverse group of youth leaders determined the program’s overall theme: “Youth United: Bring Hopes and Dreams Alive with Culture Unity”. Through artistic projects, Mission Voices youth explore issues of race, immigration, positions of power, alternatives to gangs and violence, community responsibility and cultural identity. All teens participating in “Mission Voices” are paid for their efforts.
