Alula Editions

Alula Editions publishers Helena Keeffe and Amber Cady create repeat patterns, which are then screen-printed onto fabric and made into an edition of objects. These editions are created in collaboration with one or multiple Bay Area artists with diverse inspirations such as the electromagnetic fascia of life as found in brotherhood, the act of ‘making’ as a path to healing, and advocacy relating to food systems. Alula Editions is interested in alternative modes of distribution which provide artists a way to engage in cultural production outside of traditional models. Each edition is printed with water-based inks on sustainable fabric made from fibers such as bamboo, hemp and organic cotton.
