yucca

  • Round 13

yucca

yucca is a project space located at an apartment in San Francisco, CA. The name of the space is inspired by the graceful and old Mojave Yucca plant in the backyard of Lian Ladia and England Hidalgo’s apartment which is subtle in its presence but is probably the oldest inhabitant of the area. The project space does not aim to explore or discover new work or ideas, rather it creates a space that opens up conversations about subtle experiences or already existing ideas that have always maintained a presence, but still remain to be thoroughly explored. yucca’s program revolves around presentations and ideas surrounding borrowed films, kept files, ancient recipes, artist experiments, and shared future prospects.
