CREATIVE LABOR: QUEER VISUAL ARTISTS WORKING GROUP

As an organization of Feminist, Queer, Trans and People of Color artists and thinkers, Creative Labor: Queer Visual Artists Working Group is committed to social and cultural equity and organizes to promote social justice through the creation and dissemination of Queer visual arts and visual culture. The Alternative Exposure grant supports Creative Labor’s Second Annual Queer Open Studios events in San Francisco and Oakland. The events will take place on the 2nd and 3rd weekends of September 2018. Each weekend, Creative Labor will publicize artists’ studios and LGBTQ community spaces that will display the work of approximately 50 LGBTQ visual artists.
