Volunteer for the SoEx Auction
It's almost time for Southern Exposure's biggest event of the year!
This year's theme is AVANT GARDEN: a celebration of Southern Exposure’s dedication to cultivating artists’ practices within the creative ecosystem of the San Francisco Bay Area. The event features a live and silent art auction, delicious food and drinks and installations from commissioned artists. This highly anticipated event provides direct and critical support for our exhibition and education programs.
We need a lot of help! See it all unfold from behind the scenes by volunteering. If you are interested and available in any of the roles below, please contact Lisa at 415-863-2141 or [email protected] with your preference(s).

Art Wrappers
8:00 – 11:00 PM
Calling all levelheaded, careful and speedy art handlers! We need your expertise to make sure art comes off the wall and leaves in the hands of the highest bidder in pristine condition.

Clean-Up Crew
11:00 PM – 1:00 AM
Are you a night owl with energy to burn? Enjoy the auction all night long and then help the SoEx staff break down the scene of the crime. Any volunteer who helps out with cleanup is probably eligible for sainthood, or at least our undying gratitude.
