Lead Teaching Artists: Bayete Ross-Smith, Sirron Norris, Ana Szyld
Collaborators: Horizons Unlimited, La Casa de Los Jovenes, Youth in Action, Galeria de la Raza, The DJ Project, and Youth Speaks.
Southern Exposure is proud to host our ninth year in collaboration with La Casa de los Jovenes, Horizons Unlimited, and Youth in Action of the San Francisco Conservation Corps, as well as collaborations with The DJ Project, Galeria de la Raza, and Youth Speaks. We are especially pleased to bring performance and installation artist Ana Szyld, photographer and video artist Bayeté Ross-Smith, and visual artist and freelance illustrator Sirron Norris into our organization as this summer’s lead artists. Under their guidance, and with the support of a fabulous network of interns, site staff, and youth leaders, 50 youth have come together to make the Southern Exposure gallery their site for artistic development and creative expression.
