Juried by Karen Moss, Director of Exhibitions and Public Programs at the San Francisco Art Institute, Tender is Southern Exposure's 9th annual entry fee-free juried exhibition of work by northern California artists.  As in previous years, artists may play upon Tender's multiple meanings such as the emotional  (sympathetic/gentle) or the physical (sensitive to the touch/fragile) connotations of the word, or tender as an exchange of money or services -- a fitting metaphor for art as a salable object.
