Nestor Kruger
correction
January 5 - February 3, 2001
Opening Reception: Friday, January 5, 2001, 6:00 – 8:00pm
correction begins with a small photograph of a room on the southeast corner of a typical early 20th century Ontario farmhouse. In this exhibition, architectural space is rendered as a wall painting derived from a 3-d computer model of the farmhouse room. In Kruger’s work, virtual imagery continually holds the promise of building another version or viewpoint. The final version of the room is corrected from untrue to true. It is a return to the idealized space of the plan.
