It's almost time for Southern Exposure's biggest event of the year, our Annual Fundraiser and Art Auction! This highly anticipated event provides direct and critical support for our exhibition and education programs.

This year's theme is EQUILUX: equal parts night and day in celebration of the vernal equinox. The event features a live and silent art auction, delicious food and drinks and installations from commissioned artists.

SATURDAY 3/21/15 (GAME TIME!)

Front Door, Ticket Sales & Check-In
8:30 – 10:00 PM (1 person)
Greet auction-goers and be the friendly face of SoEx. You are the point of entry for EQUILUX, directing guests to the correct line, checking off names and selling tickets.

Art Sales & Cashier
9:30 – 11:30 PM (1 person)
Art sales, ticket sales, and keeping track of bids. If you're organized and you can count, we want you!

Art Handlers
9:30 – 11:30 PM (1 person)
Wear white gloves, hold the artwork steady and ferry it safely to the wrapping room once the bidding is over! Watch the drama of the live and silent auctions unfold from center stage.

Gallery Runners
9:00 – 11:00 PM (1 person)
You’re on hand to make sure everything looks great all night long, assisting the food runners in keeping the tables well stocked and presentable, and checking up on all areas of the event to keep everything neat and clean. This isn’t a glamorous job, but it’s a crucial one.

SUNDAY 3/22/15 (THE AFTERMATH)

12:00 – 2:30 PM (1 person)
2:30 – 5:00 PM (2 people)
The party might be over but the mess tends to overstay its welcome. Help us tidy up and deal with the logistics of auction aftermath – there are photos to be processed, records to be updated, and accounting to be done.
