Interested in digital engagement and audience development?

As Southern Exposure's Communications Intern, you'll help manage our social media channels, assist with social media campaigns, and recruit followers. You'll curate compelling content, including that from friends and allies, about issues affecting artists and art spaces to highlight via Southern Exposure’s social media networks. You'll also perform monthly data analysis of web, email, and social media reach, and provide project-based support such as researching press contacts, promoting events, communicating with partners, gathering and processing images, maintaining projects and events on the website, and archiving pr materials.

Skills needed: The ability to write clearly and engagingly for different contexts, adjusting tone as appropriate. Familiarity with social media platforms, Google Drive, Microsoft Office, and the Adobe Creative Suite. Basic html knowledge is a plus.
