Gender is on an uncertain ground if one leaves the moorings of biologism and essentialism. Some fear that what was once foundation could become a surface of spectacle and masquerade. Is gender in danger of becoming fashion?

The panelists will approach this terrain from different locales of experience and critical interest as prologue to open discussion.
