An Evening of Music by Gresham and Our Lady of the Highway

An Evening of Music by Gresham and Our Lady of the Highway

May 24, 2002

Gresham is described as a holy fool - a Persian cowboy flying high across the West on a Sleek Yellow Dolphin, commanding stages big and small with the arresting presence of Abe Vigoda channeling Janis Joplin with a dash of Jello Biafra.  His music is not Folk. It's not Pop. It's not really Hip Hop. It's sort of underwater Tiger riding music with vocals. Our Lady of the Highway is soulful sweet acoustic music with the occasional punch of an electric guitar. Our Lady embodies the eclectic literary sound and textures of the Bay Area.
