Amor Propio is a powerful evening of testimonials and performances by domestic violence survivors. The event features a presentation by Zina Bursey about her personal experience with domestic violence; “Ang Mga Babae (The Woman)” a video by Melissa Cruz; a testimonial by Gayle Nicolson about her experience and insights from the tragedy of having lost her daughter and grandson to domestic violence; and testimonial presentations and performances by Spanish speaking domestic violence survivors from the FUND’s leadership training program for Latina women (presented in Spanish with English translation).
