Autobiographical Pillows, Light Boxes, Paintings, Photographs, Collages, and Pocket Shrines 

The young women of the G.I.R.L. Project are referred by the Youth Guidance Center. Southern Exposure artists work with staff at Horizons Unlimited and Westside Community Mental Health Center to create an environment that promotes positive self-expression, inspires the participants to think critically and increases self esteem through projects that explore identity, culture and community responsibility.
