Mission Voices Summer

Mission Voices Summer

Southern Exposure's Mission Voices Summer (MVS) program works with youth and teaching artists in a four-week summer intensive program which runs for three hours a day, Monday through Thursday. MVS draws on multiple art practices and utilizes different forms of media enabling an array of mediums and techniques to be explored over the course of the program. Over the course of the program, youth artists take over the Southern Exposure gallery to collaborate with and learn from teaching artists to produce multidisciplinary art projects unified under a central, collaboratively-developed theme. At the end of the session, the projects are presented together to the community in a public exhibition in our gallery.
