ADAM HATHAWAY

ADAM HATHAWAY born in Boulder, Colorado in 1980. While enrolled in the Bachelor of Fine Arts Program at the University of Montevallo Hathaway was educated in numerous sculptural disciplines by Professors Ted Metz and Scott Meyers, as well as broadening his creative horizons with classes in drawing, painting, and printmaking. After three years at Montevallo, Hathaway graduated Magna cum Laude with numerous awards from the College of Fine Art. Hathaway then served as an intern at the Carving Studio and Sculpture Center in West Rutland, Vermont under the direction of Carol Driscoll. Hathaway entered a Master of Fine Arts Program at the San Francisco Art Institute in 2005 and graduated from SFAI in May of 2008. He recently completed a residency with the Exploratorium in San Francisco in 2008 and exhibited his work at the Exploratorium in 2009.
