Volunteer for the Monster Drawing Rally
Our Monster Drawing Rally is right around the corner!
On Friday, July 11, 2014, 6:00 – 11:00 PM at the Verdi Club, Southern Exposure hosts our famous Monster Drawing Rally.
Picture a room of artists, all furiously producing artwork in one-hour shifts, crowds of people watching the creative process and vying to buy the finished works. It's a fantastically fun event, but it requires a ton of volunteer positions to make everything run smoothly. Here's where you come in.
Available positions and shifts are listed below. Sign up by emailing [email protected] with your preference(s)!

Front Door Team: Step right up! Front table volunteers, armed with hand-stamps and cash boxes, will manage the front door and control the crowd with bright smiles.
8:15 – 11:00 PM (1 person)
Cashiers: You handle all the cash and card sales over the course of the night. You're quick with numbers and a smile, thanking the art lovers for their support.
8:15 – 11:00 PM (1 person)
Documentation Posse: Help photograph the amazing works as soon as the artists are finished making them. Photo experience required!
5:30 – 8:15 PM (1 person)
Sellers: Freshly-minted drawings move from the documentation table to the wall as soon as they dry. You encourage the crowds to buy! buy! buy!, and use well-established methods (pick a card, any card) to mitigate bidding wards.
8:15 – 11:00 PM (4 people)
Maintenance Crew: Make sure the Verdi Club stays in tip top shape and the event is running smoothly. You may be asked to help out in other areas at the drop of a hat; flexibility and a cheerful disposition much appreciated!
6:00 – 9:00 PM (1 people)
