Projects and Exhibitions Program Intern

Under the supervision of the Projects and Exhibitions Program Director, the Projects and Exhibitions Program Intern organizes materials and information for exhibitions and public projects. The Intern researches materials, consolidates equipment, and communicates with artists and curators to coordinate administrative and logistical details for upcoming projects. This may include correspondence with artists, assisting with installation, lighting the gallery, arranging shipping, and sourcing and ordering supplies, amongst other activities. This internship is ideal for someone interested in gaining a broad overview of the logistical components of exhibition making and public projects in a non-profit art environment. Skills needed for this position are an attention to detail, strong organizational skills, flexibility, the ability to lift 50 lbs, comfort on a ladder, and a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
