This position is ideal for someone interested in arts writing, digital engagement and audience development. Working under the supervision of the Communications and Outreach Director, the Communications Intern maintains press contacts and received press records, promotes SoEx events and projects via listings and social media, uploads content to the SoEx website and analyzes quarterly viewership/readership statistics. The intern should know and understand SoEx's artists and projects, occasionally helping to write and edit copy. 

Skills needed for this position are experience writing for social media platforms, Microsoft Word, Excel and the Adobe Creative Suite. Html knowledge is a big plus.
