The AIE intern works under the supervision of the AIE Program Manager to help with coordination and administration of AIE programs, publications, and exhibitions. Additionally, the AIE intern will work to help create an archive of all past AIE programs. The intern also helps research community organizations, design and implement community outreach strategies, and tracks outreach efforts. The intern will help to identify and target community groups, schools and neighborhoods that would be interested in upcoming educational programs, exhibitions and events through publicity and promotion, and active invitation. Southern Exposure seeks an AIE intern with an interest in arts education, curriculum development, project development, public programming and outreach.
