Christina La Sala is a multi-disciplinary artist who lives in San Francisco, CA. She received her BFA from The Tyler School of Art, Temple University Philadelphia, PA and her MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute. La Sala has shown work nationally and abroad. She was an Artist in Residence at The Headlands Center for the Arts Sausalito, CA, The Hermit Foundation Plasy Czech Republic, Elsewhere Greensboro N.C. The Center for Art and Urbanistics Berlin, Germany, Hancock Shaker Village Pittsfield, MA and Ayatana Art Science Residency in Ottawa, Canada. 

La Sala has worked for a variety of arts organizations including: artist and curator, Nexus Foundation for Today’s Art, Philadelphia, PA, The Walter and McBean Gallery at SFAI, The Mexican Museum, SF, Programming Committee The LAB, San Francisco, President of the Board of Directors at The Lab, programmer and Board Member, Mediate Art Group. La Sala is Associate Professor of Studio Art in the Individualized Program at California College of the Arts. La Sala divides her exhibition time between gallery work, film and theatre design. She has designed sets, millinery and specialty props for Big Mess Theatre in Philadelphia, specialty props for Leah Stein Dance Co. Philadelphia, specialty props for Smart Mouth Theatre, SF and set design and specialty props for Theatre First Oakland, CA. La Sala is represented by Paul Mahder Gallery, San Francisco/Healdsburg and Sideshow Gallery, Chicago, IL.
