Jovi Schnell was born in 1971 in Little Rock, Arkansas and lives and works in Los Angeles, CA. She earned her BFA from SFAI in 1992 and studied in Netherlands and Czech Republic before becoming an MFA Candidate at UCL Berkeley in 2015. She has had solo exhibitions at Gregory Lind Gallery and Derek Eller Gallery in New York. She has created public murals and mosaic art in San Francisco, Tampa, Florida, and Belgrade, Serbia.
