Liberated Lens film collective will offer filmmaking workshops in which participants will learn by doing. The curriculum will be catered to whatever people need or want to learn, from pre- through post-production. There will also be a strong emphasis on documentary filmmaking. After the course is finished and projects are completed, a film festival will be organized to screen them in the Omni Commons' beautiful ballroom at 4799 Shattuck Ave. in Oakland, where the collective is based.
