JOBS FOR TEACHING ARTISTS AT SOEX FOR FALL 2011

Southern Exposure is hiring two part-time teaching artists for our fall 2011 Artists in Education (AIE) program, Youth Advisory Board.

Southern Exposure seeks two part-time teaching artists: 1 PART-TIME ARTIST and 1 PART TIME ASSISTANT ARTIST for our Youth Advisory Board program (YAB). Two Instructors, along with Southern Exposure's Artist in Education Program Manager, will collaborate and work with approximately 15 - 20 teenagers this fall to facilitate a YAB-generated project that will be on view to the public at Southern Exposure. The class will be based on a socially relevant theme identified by YAB students through research, field trips and discussion. Teachers will facilitate skills in conceptual investigation, art making, project design, and planning.
